Our mission is simple: to deliver our customers' time-critical information whenever they want it, wherever they want it, in whatever form they want it.
MBC Precision Imaging, based in Columbia, Maryland, is a national leader in the reprographics industry. We provide a broad array of reprographics technologies, web-based applications, professional services, digital equipment and managed onsite solutions.
We stand behind our products and services with the professional expertise to fully support the document management, distribution and printing needs of architectural, engineering and construction firms, both small and large. Our value to our customers is found in our worlwide presence, unmatched service, talent and knowledge, which we consider unequalled in our industry.
In June 1972, MBC founder Bill Berg opened Maryland Blueprint in a small one-room shop in Arbutus, Maryland. Our first service offerings included diazo reproduction and supplies sales. In 1975, as our staff and service offerings expanded, Maryland Blueprint moved to our current headquarters, located in Columbia, Maryland.
MBC has grown steadily over the past four decades. Our rapid expansion began with the debut of MBC ReproExpress in Fairfax, Virginia in 1989, with several more locations opening throughout Baltimore, Washington and Northern Virginia over the years. In August 1999, Maryland Blueprint and MBC ReproExpress consolidated under the new name MBC Precision Imaging, marking the advent of digital reproduction equipment and web-based document-management services. The new name represented our progressive range of technology services and ushered out obsolete diazo blueprinting.
In March 2007, MBC merged operations with regional industry leader, Reprographic Technologies, to create the Mid-Atlantic's premier reprographic services organization. Today, MBC Precision Imaging, an American Reprographics Company®, provides a broad array of reprographic technologies, online services, digital equipment, supplies and technical consulting to support the architectural, engineering and construction industries throughout the Mid-Atlantic region and the world.
